A seemingly normal and well mannered couple, Peter and Katarina – him a business man, she in the fashion business, are living in a marriage without communicaton. Peter starts getting obsessed with the thought of killing his wife, a thought that he confesses to his good friend and psychiatrist, Mogens. At a porn club he meets a prostitute, Ka, who triggers his urge to kill.

The film is based on concrete observations and memories surrounding a theme that had haunted me for a long time: how two human beings who are painfully united in love at the same trying to rip themselves free of their shackle.
