A man's life is turned upside down when his routine and monotonous daily life fall apart after he becomes the father of a strange and sickly child. The incredibly absurd and nightmarish images reflect his fear, guilt, and sense of alienation in an unfamiliar world.

David Lynch's first feature film is a cult psychological and surreal drama that remains one of the most enigmatic and influential films of the 20th century. The film is known for its visual expression and sound design, which create a suffocating atmosphere of anxiety and absurdity. David Lynch not only directed, but also participated in the scriptwriting, editing, and art design, turning his personal vision into an almost avant-garde work.
