This classic Norwegian thriller, based on the novel by Jo Nesbø, tells the story of the exotic business of searching for highly qualified personnel, known as "headhunting." Roger Brown is an experienced headhunter who searches for executives for large companies, but to support his home, wife, and social status, he becomes a thief of paintings. After meeting Klas Greve, a former operative with a mysterious aura and hidden skills, his life becomes a kaleidoscope of manipulation, fear, betrayal, and bloody crimes. Roger's plans to make the big score are threatened by the danger of being outsmarted and falling into his own trap.

 

The film manages to maintain the tension with a combination of action, drama, and dark humor, building a character who, although controversial, manages to elicit a certain amount of sympathy.
