Thirteen-year-old Felice grows up under the strict gaze of his father, who expects him to become Italy's next tennis star. To help him make the transition from regional to national level, his father hires former champion Raul Gatti as his coach, despite his dark past. Tournament after tournament, between victories and defeats, Felice learns that not everything can be controlled on the court and in life, while Raul is confronted with ghosts from the past.
